Sign-up...101 Fantasy Reading Challenge

Welcome to the dedicated blog for the 101 Fantasy Reading Challenge.  I am so pleased to be taking over the challenge from Bella (formerly of A Bibliophile's Bookshelf).  I sure will miss Bella around the blogosphere, but I am glad to get the chance to carry on this great challenge.

Here are the details for anyone new to the challenge:

1. Pick the number of books you want to read. It can be a mixture of the top 101, and/or the whole list. For example, you might want to aim to read 5 from the top 101 and 5 from the rest of the list.

2. Create a list of the books you want to tackle. You can create a list now, or add them as you go. Completely up to you.

3. The challenge runs from 10/10/09 to 10/10/10.

4. Please post the direct link to your 101 Fantasy Reading Challenge post. (so that other participants can visit and see what you are reading)

5. Be sure to follow this blog because Bella created a fun meme and I will be posting that between now and the end of the challenge.

6. For those of you who already signed up at Bella's, I hope you don't mind signing up here again.  There was no way to transfer the Mr. Linky.

7. I will be posting a Mr. Linky for reviews in the next couple of days.  (Feel free to post previous reviews from since the challenge started)

8. Above all else...HAVE FUN!!!

  5. It's awesome to see the challenge will continue even though Bella has decided to stop blogging. Thank you for taking it on! I helped Bella out with the 101 of the Best Fantasy Books blog last year, so it's especially good to see it's continuing! It's a shame Bella won't be around, but I'm sure she'll still be visiting every now and again.

  6. Ahh, I'm sorry! I clicked the wrong url in my drop down, and entered a review thinking it was the review link up post! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!

  8. This sounds like a fun challenge ! I know I'm late to the game, but will still try to get at least 10 books done by October '10.

    Cheers,

  9. Just found this challenge today. It sounds great. Hopefully there will be a roll over and or a new challenge for next year too!

More voting at the end of this year for a new list?

  10. I'm late to this but I really loved the idea of trying out my first challenge and, seeing as fantasy is usually my genre of choice, this seemed like a good place to start!

Hoping to review as I'm going along - will there be a new start in October 2010 that I can be more on time with? I'd love to be able to vote too!
